Project DescriptionThe Ames Ford Dealership was originally built by "Iowa Pork Producers" back in the 1950's for their corporate office. Years ago the building was sold and eventually became a dealership.
H&R Construction was contracted to modernize the dealership and qualify the owner for Ford's "Trustmark" incentive program. The original building had such low ceilings and compartmentalized rooms the team decided to completely raze the showroom, part, administration, and restroom areas for the facility (roughly 50% of the building was torn down and hauled away). This made way for a 15,000 sq.ft. addition including new showroom, BDC, training facilities, parts, customer lounge, restrooms, NVD, and administration. Construction started September 15th and completion was in April. Project DetailsContract Type: General Contractor - Negotiated
