Project DescriptionH & R Construction recently completed Sterling Computers new corporate headquarters in North Sioux City, SD. We were awarded the project is September of 2018 and completed the transformation of the old Gateway “Mexico” Building in July.
De-construction consisted of the complete removal of the end bay of the structure, complete replacement of the exterior walls, replacement and relocation of bracing, new roof, and removal of various sections of structural composite slabs on deck in order to create multiple atriums. Renovations involved installation of vast amounts of exterior windows for natural lighting combined with an industrial feel of polished concrete floors. All of the sales areas have custom acoustical baffles installed for noise control. The parking lot was removed and replaced along with new traffic control measures. H& R Construction is proud of this project and hopes to work for Sterling Computers again in the near future. Project DetailsContract Type: General Contractor
